Solution that can be integrated into urban furniture
Smart In is a communications module that works with IP technology, designed to be installed inside street furniture. It allows the integration of other technological applications to provide service to citizens from public elements of the city, such as lights or canopies. Conventional street furniture becomes an interactive solution and optimizes the experience of the user and the local administration with the city environment.
The Smart In module allows you to take control of street furniture and integrate different technological devices, such as public address systems, video surveillance, connectivity, weather sensors, etc.
The AMB designed the public address column called Modular Integral Column for the beaches of Barcelona with Smart In technology.
Smart In is the technology that was used to provide communications and connectivity services in the columns installed on the beaches of Barcelona, a project that was developed together with the AMB (Barcelona Metropolitan Area) and which we will talk about in detail at the event.
The Smart In module is integrated inside each column to offer Hi-Fi sound system, connectivity via Wi-Fi and weather sensors to users. The comprehensive project is made up of a total of 35 IP public address points connected by fiber optics and framed in the Smart City project of Barcelona City Council.
